History

Mansa once a sub-division of Bathinda district was recently raised to the status of District. Since long, the society had an eye on the area. To cope with the educational needs of this fast developing township, the PilarFathers opened a unit in Mansa in the late 1990s. Fr. Marden Pereira our veteran missionary was sent to do the spade work of locating a suitable land and ended up purchasing an 8 acres plot in 1994 to extend its apostolate where the present educational complex flowered.

The Mansa unit was started in 1998 in a rented house. It is a promising unit. The Kindergarten school began in rented rooms under the charge of Fr. Seby Rodrigues and Fr. Rosario Antao.

The school building was built in three phases. The first phase was constructed under the supervision of Fr.Seby Rodrigues in the year 2001. The second phase was constructed under the supervision of Fr.Michael Fernandes in the year 2007. The final phase was completed under the supervision of Fr. Amaro Martins in the year 2011.
